The White City

Description

Some day, we will all be raptured up to stand in the courts of the white throne of God! Until that day comes, we only have a few lines in the Bible to churn up our imaginations and make us wonder exactly what it might be like.  It’s fun to think about and come up with all sorts of images and ideas.

Fans of a popular fantasy series in both books and movies will certainly recognize our nod to the fictional city of white.   One might wonder at times if the author of this series had his own thoughts of what heaven might look like, and this was one way he was able to give the city in his writings such a vivid imagery.  That city was the home of the tower guard- the soldiers who were the front lines against all things evil and dark.  Perhaps the wearer of this bracelet is also often on the frontlines- only instead of physically fighting a war, they fight a war in the spirit through prayer and fasting and intercession.

The bracelets themselves are composed of many pure white beads.  The color white is representative of purity, innocence, righteousness, cleanliness and goodness.  Mixed in with the white is the color silver- a color that represents truth.   Goodness and Truth can only come from one source- the Creator of the Tree of Life.
